Advanced course in implantology first organized in our region that allows the answer to the question of how to increase the horizontal bone volume with simultaneous implant placement and how to achieve primary stability of the implant with sinus lift procedure (external sinus lift) in bone thickness of only 1-2 mm.

Biologically, the growth factors are always active and are essential for all the healing process. However, in clinic, the most frequent question is: do they are always active?
The aim of this course is to understand how the growth factors are active and how we can obtain the best results in clinical use: in soft tissue management and bone augmentations.
The evidence is more known today: the growth factors are released by platelets and white cells and they need several conditions and other substances to be really successful. There are also a lot of factors who counteract their activity.
The protocol A-PRF, Advanced Platelet Rich Fibrin, is the most powerful concept as it combines the fibrin network, the growth factors from the platelets and the white cell activity for only one goal: getting the more rapid and thorough vascularization. A-PRF is a "blood concentrate" and not a "platelet concentrate"!
The A-PRF protocol proposes the better composition for the healing cascade: cytokins with slow release, full natural fibrin, monocytes, granulocytes and plasma proteins, with long term release of autologus BMP-2.
The i-PRF protocol is proposed with the same concept: platelets, white cells, fibrinogen in liquid form produced without any additive or anticoagulant: it clots after the injection. The goal is to improve the soft tissue biotype without surgery, only by injection and to obtain a very sticky bone graft.
We introduce in this course the notion of strict and specific protocols: without specific protocols allowed to each clinical indication, the results should be random..
The negative factors that antagonize the PRF successful will be presented in great detail.

Dr.Bassam has lectured both nationally and internationally in many countries from international meetings to specialized implant courses specially in the topic of Biomechanicals Considerations in Implant Prosthodontics, from a surgical and prosthodontic aspect and cosmetic and functional stability around implants in the esthetic zone, and Sinus Elevation and grafting techniques. Some of the countries are the United States of America, Spain, Italy, United Arab Emirates,Saudi Arabia,Libya and Syria. Dr.Bassam has demonstrated many live transmission surgeries in these implant courses. Dr.Bassam has published several articles in national and international magazines.
